This carset is dedicated, in loving memory, to Greg Moore and Gonzalo Rodriguez.

*   CARSET INFORMATION      *
*****************************

This package contains The 1999 Cart version of the famous Reynard chassis.
with original wings and all the details. The carset contains 35 racecars (one player car,
33 opponents, and one pacecar)

Why use the Reynard chassis?
The Reynard has dominated the Cart World Series since its debut in 1994. Michael Andretti
won the first event ever raced in a Reynard chassis, winning the 1994 opener in Australia.
The Reynard chassis has been used by every Cart Champion since 1995 (1995:Jacques Villeneuve,
1996: Jimmy Vasser, 1997-98:Alex Zanardi , 1999:Juan Montoya).

Why ONLY use the Reynard shape?
The ICR2/Cart Racing game does not allow for use of a multiple carshape carset.

* NEW ITEMS IN THIS CARSET *
*********************************

Among the various details of the racecar body, the carset contains a new,
rounder front wheel. The wheel does not look angular anymore from the
cockpit view with this wheel. Plus, both (front and rear) wheels have
sinked, 3D rim design and beveled tire edges, which give more realistic look
to the wheels.

The carset contains a brand new pacecar, a yellow BMW M3 sportscar, which new
red-yellow flasher represents a policecar's flasher shape. The car has
flashing tail-lights too! Edwin Roman added a different set of wheels to the pacecar,
so that the pacecar has it's own rims, not the race cars rims.

*  INSTALLATION  *
******************

Create a folder called Reynrd99 in your Cars directory and unzip the contents
of this zip file into that directory.

**********************************************
* KNOWN ISSUES (BUGS) WITH THIS CARSET *
**********************************************

The carset dat file is over 4 megabytes. Some computers cannot handle the file size of the
carset and will drastically decrease frame rate.

The shadow disappeared in the mirror, but other underbody colors are the
same as in original carsets.

The carset contains the two standard type of car: A speedway car for the
ovals and superspeedways, and a road car for the road and street courses.
The speedway car has an additional detail, the top engine fin.
Both bodies have thier own front/rear wing configuration.

The carset does not contain the damage model. This means, the body parts
can come off the car, but cannot be damaged. THIS IS, WHY THE SET IS NOT
COMPLETED...
